Botswana Football Association (BFA) first vice president, Marshlow Motlogelwa has reportedly quit his post, becoming the first senior figure to do so since reports of misuse of funds broke out at the mother body in December.

Motlogelwa has reportedly fallen out with other BFA NEC members following the mis-allocation of FIFA funds, amounting to P6 million. The money was diverted to fund the association's internal operations.

Motlogelwa was expected to hand in his resignation letter today, to counter plans to suspend him by other NEC members. As first vice president and due to his strong background in finance, Motlogelwa was in charge of BFA's purse.
