A new swimming star has been born. Thirteen-year-old Melodi Saleshando has taken to swimming like a duck to water, reports Staff Writer, CALISTUS KOLANTSHO

As an early age swimmer, Melodi Saleshando daughter of Dr Gagoitsewe and Ntsebo Saleshando, was already a keen swimmer. Her potential was instantly recognised by Solomon Mpusetsang of Propellers Swimming Academy who remains her coach to date.

At the time she started swimming lessons at the club, she was still learning the ropes, but it was not long before she was roped into the Propellers Long Term Athlete Development Plan.
