Kick-off is 4pm. Part of the facility was affected by the recent heavy rains, which have seen some seating areas collapse. Despite the incident, Botswana Football League public relations officer, Prince Tshoswane told MmegiOnline, the match will go ahead this afternoon. However, he said the home team, Matebele has been urged to limit ticket sales. "We have found that two stands were affected by the downpour. The league, together with Matebele and Chiefs, has taken a decision not to use the affected stands. The stands will be closed to the public. We have encouraged Matebele to beef up their security and come up with barricades to prevent fans from accessing the stands," Tshoswane said. "We find ourselves in a tight corner as this is a rescheduled fixture. We cannot afford to reschedule it again. We hope it will proceed with minimum supporters and under safe circumstances, but we will continue to monitor the situation," he added. Tshoswane said the unaffected stands can only accommodate a maximum of 500 fans. On other re-arranged fixtures, Orapa United will take on VTM at the Itekeng Stadium in a 4pm kick-off, whilst rookies Chadibe FC are at the Galaxy Stadium for a date with defending champions, Jwaneng Galaxy. The match starts at 5pm.
