Botswana Premier League (BPL) newcomers, Matebele FC are set to appoint Namibian coach, Nicholas Woody Jacobs, media reports say.

Jacobs is set to officially take the reins on September 1 as Namibian publication, New Era Newspaper reports in a historic move. Jacobs will become the first Namibian to coach in Botswana as Matebele FC make their BPL debut. “It will come with an option to extend for a further one-year. The immediate plan is to survive the first season. We will aim for a top eight finish.
