The club, which was previously owned by former Mochudi Centre Chiefs chairperson, Lux Mothulatshipi, has been acquired by Jimmy Kereng, former Township Rollers president. They are reportedly in the process of changing the trading name next season with new club owners looking to revive football in Gamalete constituency.
Meanwhile, Holy Ghost who three weeks ago looked set to be going further down to the lowest divisions, appear to have found their magic charm after registering a comfortable victory this past weekend. They are sitting at position nine with 15 points, thanks to the 3-0 win over UB Hawks. The Mmopane based side relegated from the Premier League last season with Police XI and Eleven Angels. The top of the table clash between Police XI and Young Stars ended in a goalless draw, with both sides retaining their positions at the too of the log standings. The Jungle Kings are at the summit with 25 points from 13 matches while Young Stars are second with 22 points. Tlokweng United also managed to retain their third position despite suffering a heavy defeat at the hands of Magosi. Notwane failed to take advantage and close the gap between them and other title chasers when they lost 2-0 to City Polar. Toronto are currently sitting at position four with 17 points from 11 games.
