Debswana First Division South league title race could come to an end tomorrow if log leaders, Holy Ghost manage to defeat multiple Premier League winners, Mochudi Centre Chiefs in what is expected to be a thrilling encounter. The two sides meet at the Holy Ghost Park tomorrow afternoon in a top of the table clash.

The hosts need three points to wrap up the league title and book a place in the Premier League next season while Chiefs look to cut the lead with three matches remaining. A victory for Holy Ghost will see them gain promotion to the elite league for the first time in their history but face a side that started the season on a low note and then picked up form at the right time. The hosts are at the summit with 41 points from 19 matches and have a healthy goal difference of plus 21 goals.

After several weeks of positive results, Holy Ghost’s title charge suffered a dent last weekend when they played to a 1-1 draw against Matebele FC. Chiefs on the other hand registered an important victory against Kgatleng rivals, Mochudi Rovers. In the process, Magosi cut the lead between them and log leaders to four points while also slightly drifting away from third-placed URI Black Forest who dropped two points against Motaung Young Fighters.
