Gaborone Hogs are the champions of the Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) national league for the second time in a row after totally annihilating their opponents in a championship final played on Saturday afternoon.

It was Jaguars’ second successive defeat to Hogs in the final. The two faced off before a fully packed Gaborone Rugby Football Club (GRFC) on Saturday. Hogs assistant coach, Vuyisile Moyo was a man on cloud nine with a brimming smile after Hogs’ heroic display in the final.

“I am very happy with everything that has transpired today and for us to be able to defend our championship once more against Jaguars is really a great feeling. The game went very well and we executed our game plan.
