HEART BREAKING MOMENT: CRACKiT City Polar player could not hold his tears after the final whistle PIC: PHATSIMO KAPENG

A visibly distraught CRACKiT City Polar assistant coach, Thabo Mothibi said his side did not come to the party and were too cautious in their approach during the 0-0 draw against Matebejana in the Debswana First Division South league match played on Saturday afternoon.

The draw shattered City Polar's promotion dream and ended the season on position four. They needed a win the last day to win the title and get automatic promotion to the Premier League.

“It is very painful to lose the league on the last day. We needed just a goal to get promotion but we failed. In a very tight affair just a goal could have made a huge difference for either Matebejana or City Polar.
