Black Lions’ head coach, Owen Da Gama, has rued defensive mistakes as his side were battered 4-0 by Gaborone United (GU) in an FNB Premiership match played at GU Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Lions made their 10th league game appearance since their existence and the weekend’s defeat is the fifth as they remain in the bottom half of the log standings.

They have had a good run of form but could not handle the heat from the red hot GU side.
