Mochudi Centre Chiefs has been slapped with a transfer ban of over a P119,000 debt owed to former forward, Malvern Moyo

This Monday, FIFA's head of disciplinary, Americo Espallargas informed Chiefs that they have been barred from registering players for three consecutive transfer windows. Moyo took Chiefs to FIFA over unpaid dues. The Zimbabwean forward had signed for Chiefs from Notwane at the start of the 2023–2024 and lasted a year with the team.

"In this regard, we wish to inform the parties that a ban has been implemented by FIFA on the respondent. The registration ban will remain active until due is paid and (is) for a maximum duration of up to three entire and consecutive registration periods," part of the FIFA letter reads.

"Yes, we have just received the letter now and we are on it. The club will be able to comment on the issue tomorrow. We are in a meeting discussing the letter," Chiefs' vice chairperson, Boraro Moseki told MmegiSport on Wednesday.
