The Orange FA Cup once again delivered a surprise over the weekend when a Premier League side bit the dust at the hands of a lower division side.

Police XI on Sunday afternoon saw their journey in the knockout competition come to an abrupt end after suffering a 4-3 penalty shootout defeat to Tlokweng United. The two sides had played to a 1-1 draw in the normal time before Tlokweng United showed nerves of steel in the shootout in their own backyard to advance to the next round of the competition.

On paper, the Jungle Kings were seen as the favourites ahead of the encounter considering their current form in the elite league. They had just come out of a famous victory against Nico United who have been a difficult side to beat this season.
