One of Botswana Football Association's (BFA) longest-serving CEOs, Mfolo Mfolo, is on his way out. Mfolo will leave at the end of February, cutting ties with an association that he has served since 2017, although he temporarily left in 2020, before bouncing back two years later.

First seconded from the Ministry of Higher Education on a two-year deal, he survived the usual turbulence that has characterised the highly political environment at BFA.

Obituaries of most chief executives are usually written well before the ink has dried on the contract.
