Mochudi Centre Chiefs officials have moved to refute reports, head coach Daniel 'Chico' Nare has dumped the team.

Nare was appointed the First Division South League side's head coach on December 27, 2022 and is still to lead the team in an official match. Just two weeks later, the coach has reportedly left the Kgatleng side due to contractual breaches. But on Monday afternoon, the club denied the reports that Nare has left the club. "Mochudi Centre Chiefs notes with concern news purporting to the termination of contract by the coach as awash in the social media platforms. We would like to reassure the entire Magosi family that such news have no truth to them as the coach is still contracted to us and that such news should be dismissed with contempt it deserves," a statement from Chiefs reads.

Nare had just left Morupule Wanderers late last year before joining Chiefs.
