Bowling team preparations gather pace

The Botswana Bowling Association (BBA) has begun preparations for the Commonwealth Games and the Africa States Tournament (AST) to be held in July and September, respectively. A team made up of five men and five women will be in camp from April 20 to 25 in Francistown under the guidance of coach Baven Balendra.

Speaking to MmegiSport, BBA vice president, Edwin Nyoka, explained that Edwin Junior Nyoka and Goitsemodimo Peo Ramodise are the only youth players in the team after their brilliant season.

Junior Nyoka is the men’s national singles champion whilst Ramodise is the reigning women's national Masters champion.
