Botswana women's cricket side recovered from a wobbly start in the just ended Kalahari T20 tournament, and progressed to the final, but came unstuck against a dominant Brazil side.

The week-long tournament featuring six nations, came to a close on Saturday, with Brazil emerging as the winners, leaving Botswana to take the silver medal.

It was a hit-and-miss start for Botswana as the women fell to Brazil in the opening fixture on Monday and also suffered a shock defeat to Mozambique on the second day.
