The BFA will this afternoon at 2pm host the memorial service for the former Zebras' head coach, Tshosane who died on Friday morning after a short illness. The BFA and Tshosane family yesterday hosted a press briefing to unveil the celebrated coach's funeral plans. Prayers began yesterday at the National Stadium at 5pm. Today, the BFA and the Tshosane family will host a memorial service at the National Stadium at 2pm. The service is open to the public. The BFA president, Tariq Babitseng said they are working on the thought to have Tshosane's body viewed by the public as the nation bids farewell to the record breaking coach.
"It is something that we have thought of and we are yet to decide on it. But it would be great to have our former coach's body displayed at the memorial service so that members of the public can come and say their goodbyes and pay their respects. We are thinking on it and we will decide together with the family if that can be done, if it is possible," said Babitseng, responding to the questions from members of the press. The funeral proceedings are to move to Tati Siding on Wednesday with the merapelo to be held at 5pm on Wednesday and Thursday. The Obed Itani Chilume Stadium will be the venue for the prayers until Friday while Tshosane is to be buried at Tati Siding on Saturday morning.
