'BFA erred on foreign players quota'

The Botswana Football League (BFL) has said that a recent announcement on the reduction of foreign players from five to three per team was an error on the part of the Botswana Football Association (BFA).

BFA national executive member, Bathusi Rathari, had told journalists during a press briefing in Gaborone on Tuesday that the decision to cut foreign players will be implemented from next season.

However, in an interview with MmegiSport today, BFL chairperson Sipho Showa said it was an error on the part of the BFA.
