Hard-hitting boxer, Kagiso Bagwasi, is upbeat ahead of his International Boxing Organisation (IBO) Africa Championship title challenge against South Africa’s Boyd Allen tomorrow in Sandton.

Bagwasi, who trains at Drad Boxing Gym, has six wins, no draw, no loss, and a 50% knock-out (KO) rate. He goes into the 10 rounds match, organised by Aquila Promotions, after he registered a knockout (KO) win against another South African, Almighty Moyo, in March. Bagwasi has made a name for himself as a hard-hitter who goes for the jugular. After the knockout victory, Bagwasi sent a statement of intent in professional boxing in the region.

His opponent, Allen holds a record of eight wins, one draw, and one loss. Speaking to MmegiSport, Bagwasi said Allen does not like pressure and it is a weakness that he worked on.
