The Zebras have been drawn against Malawi in the preliminary round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The draw for the preliminary round was conducted in Cairo today, and sees lowly seeded teams get the ball rolling for the tournament, which will be held in Qatar.

Botswana was in Pot 2, and have been paired with Malawi, which was in Pot 1.
