The Botswana national Under-23 soccer team crashed their Kenyan counterparts 3-0 in African Championships qualifier played at the New Lobatse Stadium on Friday.

The first half of the contest was evenly balanced, with both teams playing attacking football. Kenyan winger, John Nnoroge gave Zebras’ players; Thato Kebue and Mosha Gaolaolwe a hard time at the back.

It was Omaatla Kebatho alongside Mpho Kgaswane who spearheaded Botswana attacks, however Robison Kamura and Vincent Otieno were solid at the back. Kebatho in particular was venomous and instrumental in steering the Zebras to the victory.  He visited Kenyan half area with numerous attempts at goal and was unfortunate not to register a goal in the first half.
