Police VI have reached the finals of the JB Sports Volleyball tournament

Maun-based Yaros Olympic Club marched into the Botswana Volleyball Federation (BVF) as an affiliate early this year.

The arrival of the new side was at a time when Capital Motors tournament was underway. It was their first litmus test against the big guns.

Yaros were in the same pool as Police VI, who were the league champions and ended up clinching the Capital Motors title. Police gave the new arrivals a baptism of fire. History repeated itself over the weekend as Yaros men’s team and Police were pitted in the same pool again, this time in the JB Sports tournament.  It was another victory for Police as they brushed aside Yaros with a score line of 2-0 in the preliminary stage.  Yaros were unlucky as they got another hammering of 2-0 from Itekeng.
