WASBO in the dark over AWISA invitation

Not invited: Botswana insists it has not been invited to the next AWISA meeting

Women and Sports in Botswana (WASBO) insists Botswana has not received invitation to the Africa Women In Sport Association’s (AWISA) elective congress scheduled for Kenya in May.

WASBO public relations officer, Dr Keba Hulela said contrary to what AWISA senior official told Mmegi Sport this week, the invitation has not come through.

AWISA secretary general, Carol Garoes had said the invitation came through the Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC).
