The national team to represent the country in the Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) tournament in Cameroon will be named today, the coach has said.

Ivor Greaves said that the squad of 30 that is currently in camp will be cut down to 24 for the event that starts on June 20. He urged all players - even those that will not make the final team - to continue working hard. Greaves said that he will select players that have represented the country before such as Kabo Batsile and Tyron Warburton and a few new faces.

"Our major problem is that we had to start preparations late this year because I was appointed coach late," he said. Greaves was re-appointed after Neal Gouws quit to take care of family matters. Ironically, Greaves also left the Vultures' job after serving from 2007 to 2009 because of family issues.
