Volleyball president appeals to new minister

Botswana Volleyball Federation (BVF) president, Dan Molaodi has pleaded with the new Minister of Youth, Sport and Culture, Thapelo Olopeng to heed their call for an indoor facility. He said he has pleaded several times before that since volleyball is an indoor sport, it needs the facility in Gaborone.

“I know the one at the University of Botswana is about to be completed which is a welcome development, but we need more than that,” Molaodi said at the Mascom Volleyball League awards held in Gaborone on Tuesday.

He said they intend to bid to host some international events and can only do that if they have the facility.
