Lee Tshipana has returned to his former club, BDF VI after spending a year at Police VI. The attacker started playing volleyball at BDF VI during his junior school days and added a lot of value to the army side.

However, his play at Police VI was a far cry from his tenure at BDF VI. The 28 year old is eager to rekindle his career with a move to his old club. Tshipana said in an interview that when he left for Police VI, it was always his plan to return to BDF after a year. Tshipana who had been with BDF VI for 12 years before joining Police VI last year, said he went to the latter to get a feel of a different environment. He said his performance was not as impressive at Police VI because he was recovering from injury.  "Also the type of training and style of play at Police is different from BDF, and it feels good to be back home," he said. Tshipana said he learnt a few lessons at Police VI. "Any move generally is good because you get to experience things you did not know," he told Mmegi Sport.

He did not promise his new team his swashbuckling former self but said he wants to re-settle in the team in the first six months. BDF VI coach Selebatso Mabutho said Tshipana has been like a child to BDF VI and they have accepted him back with both hands. He said just like any other player, they would use him if he delivers.Other players that the BDF men's side signed are Patrick Tlale from Kalavango. Merapelo Tshekiso formerly with Kutlwano, Tshepo Olaotse and Tebo Kamogelo Makokwe from Diphatsa and Dynamites have joined the women side respectively.
