Troopers are Basketball champs - again

Troopers are basketball champions again after beating Flames 72-67 in an exhilarating Botswana Basketball Association (BBA) final league encounter on Saturday night.

Troopers win the title for the 12th time in a row.

However, despite winning the game resilient Flames dominated throughout the game as they led in the first three quarters. Troopers drew first blood in the first quarter through Johane Boemo. However, Flames' in form Bryan Mwansa replied with a three-pointer that set the game alight. In the fifth minute both teams were tied at 5-5, but Flames secured a basket at the end of the quarter ending it 15-13.
