Tough cricket test for Under-17 side in Namibia

The Under-17 boys side faces a tough examination of credentials when they come up against formidable opposition in the Momentum T20 Schools Cricket Festivals in Namibia from August 25-29.

Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) chief executive officer, Girish Ramakrishana said the festival is an important tournament featuring tough teams, which will benefit Botswana players and coaches. A strong 13-member team leaves for Namibia on Sunday to face others sides from Southern Africa. 

“I am very happy because this would be a good exposure for our boys as they will be playing against some strong teams and good players from Southern Africa,” Ramarishana said.
