SELEBI-PHIKWE: Titans Softball Club will leave for Italy next month to compete in the Women European Softball Cup. Titans team manager, Tshepiso Ramolapong said the team received a wildcard invitation to participate in the tournament.

She said the tournament is organised by ASD Montegranaro, which is the governing body of the Women European Softball Cup.

She said this was due to the team performance locally and internationally. “Being a new team and having won a bronze medal at the Selebi-Phikwe Extravaganza tournament and silver medals at the Vaal University tournament in South Africa is a great achievement. It is worth noting that Titans is the first African team to participate in this cup,” she said.
