Mmegi Sport’s MQONDISI DUBE tracked the movements of two key players, Mogakolodi ‘Tsotso’ Ngele (Zebras), Jonathan Pitroipa (Burkina Faso). Ironically Ngele and Pitroipa wore jersey number 11 and a lot rested on their shoulders going into this encounter

The thudding sounds of the Zebras left an indelible mark on the new Francistown stadium on a day when everything except one, went right. There was abundant flair, a glut of goal scoring opportunities and a water tight defence before a late pitch invasion left a sour taste in the mouth. Burkina Faso’s Stallions were well and truly beaten as an overwhelming sense of belief was reinstated.
