TASC to hire Zambian coach

FRANCISTOWN: Mascom Premier League side TASC are on the verge of hiring a Zambian coach. Club spokesman, Jonas Ikgopoleng said their negotiations with Zambian Under-17 national coach Christopher Chibuya are at an advanced stage.

TASC approached Chibuya last season after the controversial departure of Seth Moleofhi. But the bid was halted because the season was about to end. Ikgopoleng said they felt it was not just to hire a coach towards the end of the season. 

"We did not want to blame him when the team failed to impress. We thought it was appropriate to give him a full chance when the season starts. That is why we have returned to him," explained Ikgopoleng.
