FRANCISTOWN: TAFIC has decided against appealing a Botswana Football Association (BFA) resolution to declare last season complete, which saw the side relegated to the First Division.

TAFIC had appealed the decision with the Arbitration Committee which, however, upheld the mother body ruling.

The BFA Arbitration said the BFA National Executive Committee (NEC) acted appropriately by ending the league in March in a bid to curtail the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). After the tribunal upheld the BFA NEC decision, TAFIC had an option of appealing at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
