Stalemates dominate Premiership ties

Goals dried up on week nine of the beMOBILE Premiership, with only seven scored in eight matches. This is a sharp contrast to a blistering scoring start to the season. In the eight matches; 10 teams failed to find the net, while only Jwaneng Galaxy managed to score more than one goal in their 2-0 win over struggling Sankoyo Bush Bucks.

Township Rollers maintained their stranglehold at the top despite a 0-0 stalemate with Gaborone United in the Battle of Gaborone.

 Both teams needed the three points, but they were also fighting for the bragging rights of the city. Rollers coach, Mark Harrison and his Gaborone United counterpart, Rahman Gumbo admitted a draw was a fair result at the end of the day.
