Softball struggles with self-reliance

The Botswana Softball Association (BSA) president Marumo Morule has said the Ipelegeng (self-reliance) initiative has not made much progress because it started on the wrong footing.

Morule said they are currently in the process of making stakeholders to understand their role in Ipelegeng.

BSA introduced the initiative last year to encourage stakeholders to participate in the running of softball. Morule said that many stakeholders thought Ipelegeng applied only to the running of the league. That means even those who were supposed to promote the concept did not understand it clearly.
