One of Botswana National Sport Commission’s (BNSC) new kid on the block, Botswana Billiards Confederation (BBC) is proving to be sport’s problem child.

Commonly referred to as snooker, BBC’s troubles keep mounting. It all started when BNSC cancelled BBC Annual General Meeting (AGM), which was to be held on August 29 at Mokolodi. The sport mother body cancelled the meeting after some affiliates raised misgivings over a number of administrative issues. BNSC Sport Development Director-Administration, Elsie Kenosi told Mmegi Sport that they have given up on BBC.

“We have given up on them because BBC president, Terrence Tiroyakgosi has accused us of interfering. So we advised them to go and sort themselves out in our absence. We did not give them a deadline,” Kenosi said. BBC affiliates held a Special General Meeting (SGM) last weekend after the botched AGM.
