Smith returns after impressive run in Cape Town

Botswana’s leading golfer, Stuart Smith has just returned from a successful outing in South Africa where he finished third in the Lion of Africa Cape Town Open.

Despite the fact that he had to pre-qualify for the tournament, he scored -4 and tied in 35th after four rounds of what he described as a challenging course.

The Botswana golfer tied with top South African rookie, Brandon Stone and Hayden Porteous who also finished on -4. Other top players were South African and European tour stars, George Coetzee on -6 and Brandon Grace on -7.
