Shot in the arm for rugby side ahead of Zim trip

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Leco Botswana donated a kit to the Under-13 rugby side before it travelled to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe for the Lou Corbi tournament.

Speaking during the kit handover on Wednesday, Leco Botswana manager, Virender Marya wished the squad well and encouraged the players to do their best when they get to Bulawayo. “It is our pleasure to be giving the little we could give to the boys. As you are the future of the nation, we want you to be healthy and fit. I wish you all the best, go and fly the Botswana flag high and make us proud,” Marya said.

The squad comprises 30 players selected from the grassroots development programme, Re Ba Bona Ha.
