STALEMATE: Green Lovers and Miscellaneous played 1- 1 draw

SEROWE: Miscellaneous and Green Lovers settled for a 1-all draw in a Serowe derby played under blistering conditions, particularly in the first half, at the Serowe Sports Complex on Saturday.

Both teams were quick to attack and Lovers drew first blood as early as the sixth minute through Malvin Tinashe who finished Samuel Phiri’s shot from a corner kick. In the eighth minute, Tse Nala won a free kick but captain Kelepile Terata’s effort hit the Lovers wall.

Two minutes later, Tinashe’s effort was easily collected by goalkeeper Bophelo Kealeboga.
