Township Rollers are demanding answers after the rejection of an application for a work permit by their South African midfielder, Manqoba ‘Shakes’ Ngwenya. “He is still our player. We are trying to find out what happened.

He said the player is currently in South Africa, pending the issuance of the work permit. The former Mamelodi Sundowns star came to the country last year to join Notwane.  However, he left in a huff due to contractual disagreements.  Meanwhile, Pheto said his team has signed former BDF XI players, Boitumelo Mafoko and Otlantshekela Mooketsi.
