Township Rollers continued their winning streak on Saturday when they hammered homeside Nico United 6-1 in a one-sided match in Selebi-Phikwe. Mapalastina came into the game after back-to-back wins against Black Peril and Extension Gunners. Nico coach, Mashinkila Willlard-Khumalo told The Monitor that though the game was one-sided, he was not impressed by the decisions made by referee Omphile Phuthego.
He mentioned that the referee killed the game and the spirit of his players when he gave Bernard Simakwezi a red card in the first half.
