The Botswana Netball Association (BONA) has fulfilled its promise to fly five players to Australia after they had initially missed out due to visa delays.

The girls left the country on Wednesday evening to Australia with the team manager, Flora Kedibonye and the team trainer, Phologo Mahusi immediately after their visas were sorted out. 

Despite missing two match practices in Australia, they were part of the team that performed tremendously well at the just-ended My Spar tournament. BONA president, Tebogo Lebotse-Sebego said their aim is to see the minors (under 18) joining the other team in Australia for further preparations towards the Netball World Youth Cup.
