FRANCISTOWN: Heavy drinking on the eve of games, truancy and rampant indiscipline by players has reportedly become the order of the day at struggling Great North Tigers (GNT).

The state of affairs is said to be behind the club’s dismal performance in the Debswana First Division North League.

The former premiership side has found the going tough this season. Police- dominated GNT ended the first round rooted at the bottom of the 12-team log table with only 10 points, one win and seven draws from 11 outings.  So serious is the situation at GNT that the side honoured its weekend game against Mahalapye Hotspurs at Gerald Estate with a depleted squad.
