FRANCISTOWN: Rail Giants opened their campaign in the BoFiNet softball league in a commanding fashion in Selebi-Phikwe over the weekend.

Rail Giants were playing their opening games since the launch of the league in Sowa Town last month. The second round of the games were played in Serowe a fortnight ago and Rail Giants joined the fray in the third round of games in Selibe-Phikwe.

Giants’ men and women won all their games over the weekend to move to the top of the standings. Giants’ men opened their account with a 6-0 win against home side Phikwe Comets, beat Scramblers 10-4, walloped Deltas 10-0 and wrapped up their spectacular start with a 3-0 win against rejuvenated Ghetto Yankees.
