Four home runs were enough for Police IX Men to bury Dinare 7-0 on Saturday in a Shell League game at the National Diamonds grounds.

The two sides were competing for position 13 and 14. Dinare were the first to bat, but failed to register a run. On the first  bottom inning, Dinare pitcher, Ramaeba Rapelang, was outstanding, taking out Police IX batters one by one. On the second top inning, Dinare failed to register a point with two players on the bases as their batters flopped. On the third bottom inning, Police came close to registering a point, but their batter was taken out while his team had all the bases loaded with players.

On the fourth bottom inning, Oaitse Abel's home run gave Police four points. The home run was well timed as it came when Police's bases were loaded. Police increased their points to five when Kealeboga Tsiyenyane yet again hit another home run to march home.
