Pakistan seal semi-final spot in cricket tourney

Pakistan beat South Africa in their fourth World Group Mini-Cricket World Cup game at the Gaborone Cricket Club (GCC) on Wednesday night to seal a place in the semis.

Pakistan posted an imposing 193 runs for six in the 30-over game which South Africa failed to overhaul. South Africa won the toss and elected to field. When they started their run chase, they gave their best but fell 33 runs short.

Pakistan is the second team to qualify for the semi finals after hosts Botswana, which has won all its group matches. Pakistan's Faisal Rana who is having a dream tournament, once again led against South Africa with a top score of 103 not out. Rana has scored back-to-back centuries, a historic feat in the tournament.
