P1.3 million for Phikwe sports development

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture has approved over P1.3 million for the construction and upgrading of recreational facilities in Selebi-Phikwe.

The project will provide courts and equipment for different sporting activities in the mining town.

The work will start next January. Deputy mayor, Batlhaedi Mponwane, said the project is expected to change the image of the town.
