Botswana Football Association (BFA) Elections Committee board chairperson, Moemedi Letina said they carried out the vetting exercise without undue influence.

His comments come after the axing of presidential candidates, Tebogo Sebego and Ookeditse Malesu, for yet unnamed reasons.

It is believed the two have pending cases, which affected their candidature.
