No beMOBILE banners at Francistown Stadium

FRANCISTOWN: League sponsors, beMOBILE might not be getting mileage for their huge investment in local football if scenes that have been prevailing at the Francistown Stadium in recent months are anything to go by.

There is not a single billboard or any form of advertising bearing the league sponsor’s name.  Even the ball boys have been using the Orange bibs instead of the green ones provided by beMOBILE. This is a trend that has been going on since the beginning of the season.

This is different from what one sees in Palapye and further south where during games, the sponsor’s advertising paraphernalia are on display. Ball boys are always clad in the green bibs bearing the league sponsor’s name. Botswana Premier League (BPL) chief executive officer, Bennet Mamelodi, could not be drawn into discussing the matter.
