Netball coach optimistic despite slow start

Team Botswana have been off the blocks in a rather slow pace as they bid to qualify for next year's Netball World Cup to be held in Liverpool, England.

The team has lost its two opening games at the African region qualifiers held in the Zambian capital, Lusaka.

The local girls went down on the host, Zambia 50-43 in the opening game after committing a number of unforced errors in the defensive third.  The local girls tried to come back in to the game, but with local fans on their side, Zambia managed to win the game on Monday afternoon.
