NAB to decide Letlapeng fate today

There may be a new twist in the dispute over who should be champions of the First Division League South today when the sports National Appeals Board (NAB) decides a case filed by Letlapeng FC.

The appeal against a ruling by the Botswana Football Association (BFA) Disciplinary Committee (DC) that the Ramotswa side should be docked points for fielding an ineligible player against their title rivals Black Forest could not be heard last Thursday because of missing documents. 

After the DC ruling, the managers of the First Division South League threw a major spanner in the works by sticking to their earlier decision that Letlapeng are the champions, despite the fact that Forest now have more points and are top of the log.
