Motlakase stadium to be ready in March

Motlakase Power Dynamos' fans will have to wait a little longer before they can watch their team play at its Palapye home after delays in completing the club's stadium.

Club chairperson, Mangisi Segadimo said they now expect the facility to be completed at the end of March. Initially, the club officials had said the stadium would be ready in February but there were delays because the contractor was engaged elsewhere. "We are almost there. What is left is the laying of the top soil before the lawn is planted. The stadium should be ready by the end of the month (March)," Segadimo said.

He said the dressing rooms have not been constructed. However, he added that construction work to build the facility will start soon.  Motlakase are making their debut appearance in the Premier League and have been forced to play their home games away from Palapye due to the unavailability of a suitable stadium.
